RA Now Approved Trainer for Canada-Ontario Job Training Grant

For our Ontario Friends, if you love the idea of working with a Remodelers Advantage Consultant to help drive your business forward — strategic planning, team building, leadership retreats, production processes, financial management and planning — then you’ll be excited about this piece of news.

Training delivered by Remodelers Advantage is now eligible for funding through the Canada-Ontario Job Grant.


Canada-Ontario Job Grant (the Job Grant) provides an opportunity for employers to invest in their workforce, with help from the government.

The Job Grant will provide direct financial support to individual employers who wish to purchase training for their employees. It will be available to small, medium and large businesses with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees, and will:

  • Provide up to $10,000 in government support per person for training costs.
  • Require employers to contribute one-third of the total costs. There will be additional flexibility for small businesses to provide an in-kind contribution towards their share of the costs.
  • Require training to be delivered by an eligible, third-party trainer – Remodelers Advantage!

Here are some of the Remodelers Advantage services that would be eligible for funding.

On Site Training

Call on one of the RA Business Consultants like Paul Winans, Judith Miller, Tim Faller, or Victoria Downing to come to your location to lead a workshop with you and/or your staff. This type of workshop might include —

  • Strategic Planning Workshop
  • Team Building Event
  • Strategic Business Analysis

Online Training

Remodelers University – 24/7 online training from hiring to marketing to pricing – the University is perfect for you and your staff. (Roundtables membership includes 8 seats in the University.)

Strategic Action Groups (SAGS) – using a combination of webcast and audio, these training programs are offered several times throughout the year and focus on a variety of business management topics. Call 301-490-5620 x101 for details.

SalesEdge Sales Training – Offered exclusively to members of Remodelers Advantage Roundtables or Remodelers University, these weekly SalesEdge training sessions are lead by sales expert and author, Chip Doyle. Chip and a small group of peers work together to overcome common sales obstacles and to learn tactics that will push your closing ratio through the roof. Typically training is delivered via conference telephone call.
