Voted MVP of the 2015 Spring Mentor 2 Roundtables™ Peer Group
David Leff has been a member of the RA Roundtables Peer Groups since 2007. He founded Leff Construction in 1978 in western Sonoma County, California. Leff Construction is a certified green building company emphasizing home performance in its new home and remodeling projects. Dave is a frequent contributor of articles to local newspapers and trade magazines and is a member of the Remodeling Magazine Big 50, class of 2007.
We asked him about receiving the MVP award….”It was a surprise and an honor to be voted MVP of this group. All of the members give valuable and extremely useful feedback and so the bar is set very high. I try to listen between the words and identify issues that are important and worthy of exploration but are not being spoken about. Then I’ll ask questions designed to open up these issues, sometimes coming at them from an unexpected angle. So asking questions and giving thoughtful advice is important but so is listening carefully, during your own focus time, learning from the years of experience in the room without defending or explaining.”
RA Roundtables™ members vote for their Most Valuable Professional at each meeting. These are individuals who demonstrate the following qualities since the last meeting:
- Most initiative
- Best Company Focus packet
- Most/Best ideas
And the Greatest overall contribution during the current meeting.
