Voted MVP of the 2015 Spring Vesta Roundtables™ Peer Group
Shawn Bakker (left) is coming up on his sixth anniversary as an RA Roundtables Peer Groups member. Shawn grew up in Colorado, the son of a remodeler, then moved to California and started his own company in 2008. Cliché, but true….it’s in his blood. We asked Shawn about receiving this award and he said “I think really listening and understanding each member’s concerns and goals is the most important part of earning the MVP award. Often we are all waiting for our turn to speak or thinking of what we want to say that we do not really listen. More often than not what we talk about in the meetings is not the deep issue that is causing all of the other symptoms. I try and understand what the real “pain” is and work towards solving that.
Our Vesta group is a very tight nit group and I am humbled to have been voted MVP. We have so many great leaders in our group and men and woman of integrity that I count myself blessed to be able to walk this journey with them.”
We are very fortunate and proud to have members like him.
